Today's crush for Man Crush Monday is a guy you may be hearing about. His original limited series is getting quite a bit of attention and he's at the center of all the action. He's super hot, too. Let's talk about the star of Baby Reindeer and our #MCM: Richard Gadd.
Richard Gadd is a sexy Scotsman who went to the Oxford School of Drama in 2012. The 34-year-old is a well-rounded performer, writer, producer, and hottie. Plus he's gay. Did you know he's gay? He identifies as bisexual and sexuality is a theme he explores in several projects, especially his latest one that has garnered so much buzz.
He is currently enjoying a great deal of critical acclaim due to his Netflix series Baby Reindeer. Not only is the show a harrowing tale of an intense stalking situation, but is based on a true story. It is specifically based on Richard's true story. This happened to him for real! The writer and actor turned it into a one-man show for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It won several awards including the very prestigious Olivier Award.
That wasn't his first time at the festival. Gadd wrote and performed other original shows including Breaking Gadd and Waiting for Gaddot. He's won several awards and that led to acting roles in things like Clique, Against the Law, Outlander, and Wedding Season among many others. That's when we first saw him shirtless! Luckily, we've seen more recently.
He wrote for the series Sex Education which was also good for a lot of hot action. Did he use any real-life experiences to inspire some storylines on the sexy Netflix series that focuses on the lives of a variety of hot and horny "teens"?
The sexy Richard Gadd based Baby Reindeer on his real experiences. He was actually very severely stalked and abused by this woman and he is now a very vocal advocate for male survivors of abuse. But abuse aside...he does look really good on the show. His arse especially! And, oh, how we see his arse.
We also watch him do some gay stuff. From being jacked off by a man to having sex with his trans girlfriend, Richard's show goes all over the place with twists and turns that you wouldn't believe. Every single episode ends with a cliffhanger. I tore through the series and became such a fan of Richard's. Seeing his ass a few times def helped me to develop a very strong crush.
What's next for Mr. Gadd? I don't know, but I am hopeful that whatever he does next will be hotter, crazier, and gayer than anything he has done so far. In the meantime, let's all lay back and enjoy the fruits of Richard Gadd's labor. And by "fruits" I mean his ass.
