The Big Cigar (2024-)

André Holland takes on the role of the founder of the Black Panthers, Huey P. Newton in the AppleTV+ series The Big Cigar. This takes us back to the groovy 70s when civil rights were at the forefront of political discourse. No one did more to shake things up than Huey P. Newton, and some of his radical actions put him in the crosshairs of the US government. So, what's a revolutionary to do? In The Big Cigar, Newton teams up with some Hollywood insiders to stage his escape to Cuba. The Big Cigar will leave you with a little cigarette thanks to its lack of nudity in the first episode. However, we do get a chance to appreciate all of Huey's hard work at the gym as he confidently flexes for the cameras. Newton will put a fig in your pants!
