The Judge (2014)

In The Judge (2014), Chi-Town lawyer Hank Palmer (Robert Downey Jr.) hasn’t been home to see his father Joseph (Robert Duvall), a small-town Indiana judge, in twenty years until his mom dies and he's forced to go back. See, his hardass dad sent him to jail when he got into an accident that ended his brother Glen's (Vincent D'Onofrio) professional baseball dreams, even though the recommended sentence was probation. After a few days in the Hoosier State, Hank is itching to get back to the city until dear ol’ dad hits and kills a man. The big problem in this equation, besides a dude being dead, is that Joseph doesn’t remember killing the guy. Worse, the victim was a person Joseph sentenced to a lenient sentence a few years back and has been very vocal about how he wasn't punished enough for the crime. Hank is tasked with defending his father in court, a duty that takes him down memory including hooking up with an old girlfriend (Vera Farmiga) and meeting her daughter (Leighton Meester) who just might be his kid. But the judge is far from an easygoing client, and soon enough he's demanding to be put on the stand so he can tell the truth! The truth is the warm and fuzzy flick doesn’t give us much in the regards of nudity. Both Downey and Duvall show get shirtless in non-sexy scenes. Robert is getting checked out by a doctor when he pops off the top and shows his aged chest. Robert takes his shirt off while getting dressed in the morning, which shows his tight abs. Sure, most of you would prefer a night with Rob, but if you'd rather do it all with Robert Duvall? Who are we to judge?
