Virtuosity (1995)

Denzel Washington stars as Parker Barnes, a Los Angeles policeman serving time for killing the deranged dude who murdered his wife and son in the sci-fi thriller Virtuosity (1995). In a futuristic, high-tech version of Los Angeles, society has embraced and perfected virtual reality. Looking to figure out why crooks do what they do and how to stop them, Lindenmeyer (Stephen Spinella), a Dr. Frankenstein of the computer world, has created Sid 6.7 (Russell Crowe), a monster with the character traits of hundreds of mass murderers downloaded into it. As expected, Sid 6.7 escapes control of his sinister creator, gets put into a human body, and wreaks havoc on the city. Since he was the only one who could defeat him when tapped into the virtual reality world, Parker is let out of prison as long as he volunteers to test a new criminal tracking system to find the virtual monster. But since Sid can both regenerate parts of his body and has the brain of the crime world's best of the best, it's a tall task for Parker to find him and stop him. Twelve years later Denzel and Russell would swap the role of cop chaser and criminal chasee in the decidedly less sci-fi flick American Gangster (2007), but this one tops that one, by giving us a great look at Russell Crowe's bottom! Back before he was an Oscar winner, a nude Crowe is given life in the laboratory. As Sid becomes a human, the hunky actor gives us an extended view of his voluptuous butt cheeks.
