How It Ends (2021) is an indie romantic comedy that is bound to be this generation's Say Anything with a horrible twist. Zoe Lister-Jones is spending her last day on Earth with her younger self. The two of them make amends with some former friends, family, and exes that she feels like she has unfinished business with. While doing this, she realizes that her life has been filled with a lot of regrets. She plans to change it all in just one day! This is a star-studded film featuring major stars like Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee, Olivia Wilde, Nick Kroll, Whitney Cummings, Bradley Whitford, Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, and our co-writer and star Zoe. Zoe's character is trying to get an invite to a cool end of the world party, but she runs into an old pal. Paul W. Downs plays Sal Benedetti in one hilarious scene where he is strolling down the street with nothing but a coffee cup and a bright red speedo. Does Paul look familiar? Well, he's a comedian and creator who is one of the minds behind the HBO series Hacks (and he plays the agent on the show). He is much hotter in this stellar performance in which we get to check out his bulge and his chiseled chest as he chats up an old acquaintance that he went to school with. His chest fuzz and his slight cum gutters are leaving us with no mystery as to How it Ends. It clearly culminates with a happy ending!
