Returning to the place where you grew up can bring back bittersweet memories, especially if this is where you met the love of your life. In the touching French drama Lie With Me, Guillaume de Tonquedec plays a novelist named Stéphane Belcourt who nabs a brand deal that happens to bring him to his hometown after years away. Things are going fine until he meets the son of the man he was in love with years ago - when they were both seventeen. His young lover's name is Thomas, and he's played in flashbacks by Julien de Saint Jean. Young Stéphane is played by Jérémy Gillet, and when these two get together, it is simply fireworks.
