Summer Storm (2004)

In the sensitive and appealing coming-of-age drama Summer Storm (2004), two best friends and fellow rowers, Tobi and Achim, travel to Germany to participate in a summer rowing competition. Sandra, Achim’s girlfriend, is also on the trip, and as she and Achim get closer and closer, Tobi becomes confused about his feelings for his best friend. Things are further complicated when the team’s arch rivals turn out to be a team of gay German rowers. Be on the lookout for a couple of glimpses of Robert Stadlober’s firm Hintern, first during a romp with Kostja Ullmann, then later during a steamy gay scene. Careful -- might cause a bit of a storm in your pants.
