The Courtyard (1995)

Originally made for and broadcast on Showtime, The Courtyard (1995) stars Andrew McCarthy as Jonathan, an architect who moves into one of those mid-90s hip courtyard apartment complexes in Los Angeles, like Melrose Place. His neighbors are all varying degrees of weirdos, including character actors Vincent Schiavelli and Cheech Marin, and Twin Peaks' Mädchen Amick, who plays sultry seductress Lauren, who constantly gives our hero fuck eyes! When his neighbors start getting murdered, Jonathan turns from architect into amateur sleuth, attempting to figure out who has a motive for wanting these people dead... and if he might be next on their list! Sadly, McCarthy and Amick never get down to actually doing the deed, though we do get a sexy Andrew McCarthy shirtless scene when he is awakened in the middle of the night and goes to investigate!
