The Shadow of Violence (2020)

The Shadow of Violence (2019) is a crime drama from director Nick Rowland and writer Joe Murtagh. That team of bros brings us this film about a tough-as-nails drug enforcer for the drug-dealing Devers family named Douglas "Arm" Armstong. When he's not protecting the Devers' illegal drug trafficking business, he is trying to be a good family man. Family means a lot to him, so he does his best to keep his family happy while also doing his job in the world of crime so that he can provide for them. His loyalties lie between the two families, his own and the Devers which he keeps separate for as long as possible. Things escalate to a degree that changes his life forever when he is asked to kill. Cosmo Jarvis plays Arm and while he's a hot hunk of muscle, we don't get to see anything beyond Arm's biceps. Phooey! That's okay because there's another hunk to admire. Liam Carney is a rough dude who is made to strip naked on the sandy shore at night. In this dark scene, we get the pleasure of watching Liam totally undress. Check out his chest and tattoos! He takes off his pants and shows his crotch and ass before he is asked to go into the ocean. He goes into the ocean at night which winds up obscuring his nether region from us.
