After gaining praise for Summer Things (2002) and Strayed (2003), Ulliel won a César Award for Most Promising Actor per the WWI film A Very Long Engagement (2004). As a model, the pretty Parisian was the face of Longchamp and a Chanel fragrance. Gas also began attracting Americans with performances in Paris, je t’aime (2006) and Hannibal Rising (2007). He could then be seen in the comedy The Art of Love (2011) and heard in the animated fantasy Rise of the Guardians (2012). By 2014, Gaspard received a Lumières Award for his portrayal of the titular fashion designer in the biopic Saint Laurent (2014).
