Brooklyn (2015)

The Oscar-nominated drama Brooklyn (2015) tells the story of an Irish immigrant struggling to decide where her true identity lies. Upon landing in Brooklyn, Eilis Lacey (Saoirse Ronan) falls in love with adorable Italian stud Tony (Emory Cohen). With the familiarity of a steady job, friends, religion, and her new romance, the formerly shy Eilis acclimates to her new life in America better than expected. Family troubles back in Ireland, however, prompt her to head back to Europe. A secret civil union with Tony ensures that Eilis will have a place back in the States, but she must make the difficult decision of where to call home.
