Before he was barely legal to have a glass of champagne to celebrate, David Kross had starred in two films that were nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. In his own native Germany, he took home a Best Actor Bavarian Film Award (like an Oscar) when he was 28, and at the Cannes Film Festival, he was awarded the Chopard Tropy for “Male Revelation” when he was 19. To say he’s an impressive actor is putting it mildly. Add to that he’s a total cutie-pie, and he went full-frontal naked with Kate Winslet in The Reader(2008) (one of the Oscar-nom pix), and you’ve got a Mr. Man crush big enough to turn boulders into pebbles. David was discovered while he was still in high school, making multiple films in Germany, and eventually attending the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. When he was cast as the young version of Michael Berg in The Reader, he was told he would have to learn English in weeks, and he did it. He also gets bathed by Kate in one scene in the movie, his dark curls providing an enticing frame for his nice-sized penis. This all led to his being voted one of People magazine’s 100 Most Beautiful People in 2009. A couple of years later, he was cast as Gunther in War Horse (2011) (the other Oscar-nom film), directed by Steven Spielberg. Though most of his work is done in Germany, you can see David as Carl “Luz” Long in Race (2016) with Jason Sudeikis and as the Moustached Man in The King’s Men (2021) with Ralph Fiennes. But really, watch The Reader.
