Descent (2007)

Turnabout is fair play but not in a good way in the thriller Descent (2007), not to be confused with the chiller diller Descent (2005) or the sci-fi movie Descent (2005) starring Luke Perry. Under the direction of Talia Lugacy (who co-wrote the script with Brian Priest), this R rated flick follows art student Maya (played by Rosario Dawson who also co-produced the pic). While reluctantly attending a frat party, she winds up meeting a smooth-talking guy named Jared (Chad Faust). Maya initially pegs him (so to speak) as a jerk, but he eventually wins her over and she agrees to go out on a date with him. Things start out okay in a dinner-and-bouquet kind of way but their dynamic goes south by the second date. When Maya won’t give him what he wants, Jared cruelly takes it anyway. From this point on, Maya’s life spins out of control as she enters a deep depression. In fact, she’s sucked into a blitzed-out, coke-snorting netherworld of nightclubs to dull the pain from her traumatic experience. She even becomes involved with a DJ/dealer/pimp (Marcus Patrick). He has a plan to help Maya get even with Jared. Since revenge is a dish best served nude, Mr. Faust provides the goods. At the movie’s 01:15:30 mark, the shirtless dude strips down to his skivvies. Then he bares his cock, balls, and bum! Soon after, Mr. Patrick flashes his ass for some rump-humping revenge. In other words, descent will have your hands descending down your trousers!
