Free Fall (2013)

Thanks to the direction of Stephan Lacant (who co-wrote the screenplay with Karsten Dahlem), Yanks in the United States can generate foreign interest in their spank banks with Free Fall (2013). Not to be confused with the American mystery The Free Fall (2021), this German drama centers around the homosexual awakening of Marc Borgmann (Hanno Koffler). He’s a seemingly-straight policeman who lives with his pregnant girlfriend Bettina (Katharina Schüttler). But his life is turned upside down when he meets Kay Engel (Max Riemelt), a fellow officer on the force. Together, they and Officers Richter (Oliver Bröcker) and Limpinski (Shenja Lacher) go full frontal while taking a group shower. In a deleted locker room scene, Shenja bares his butt, balls and peen while Hanno flashes his back and ass. As you may guess, Marc and Kay develop feelings for each other, leading to the carnal consummation of their desires at the 00:37:40 mark. Bettina suspects Marc is cheating, but she assumes he’s with another woman. After the troubled couple’s baby comes, the new dad and his longtime girlfriend feud until she eventually learns the truth. When Bettina packs up her bags and takes their newborn away, Marc is left with a heartbreaking choice. Also known as Freier Fall, this skinternational flick features dialogue in German. Yet whenever the manly cast flash their fit physiques, there’s little need for translation. In other words, although things don’t seem promising for all of the characters on screen, at least horny viewers can enjoy a happy ending!
