Is Gia (1998), the saddest movie in the world? Although we can’t scientifically say so, the answer is, probably. Gia Carangi, played in the biopic by Angelina Jolie, was a real-life fashion model who found fame in the late 70s and early 80s. After a meteoric rise to stardom that kicked off almost immediately after the Philly girl moved to NYC, Gia's life began to spiral when her agent Wilhelmina Cooper (Faye Dunaway) died of cancer at only forty years old. Her over-the-top success led some to call her the first ever “supermodel” (sorry Janice Dickinson), but Gia's career was far, far shorter than Janice's. Riddled with grief, Gia began to experiment with drugs, including heroin, while ending up in bed with a wide variety of men and women. Her habit for the bad stuff consumed her career, and even with stints in rehab and other attempts to get better, Gia eventually found herself shunned by the modeling world and working in retail. Our case of the sads worsens when we find out that Gia was infected with AIDS, and at just the age of 26 she passed away from AIDS-related complications. While the movie is legendary for its lesbian sex scenes featuring a 23-year-old Angelina Jolie baring every inch of her body, fear not our man loving friends! The critically acclaimed HBO television movie also includes some gorgeous shots of hottie Eric Michael Cole’s butt, and even a brief glimpse of his balls. Skip to the 40-minute mark to see the money shot of him in the midst of a super sex session with Angie if you're looking for the nuts, then check out his buns in all their glory as he heads to the shower. Beyond that, Scott Cohen ends up lying in bed with just a bit of sheet covering his cock while getting an IV infusion. Talk about putting the jerk in tearjerker! The lesbian stuff is great but gee, a full-frontal frank and beans shot would've really done the trick in Gia!
