In between making the erotic drama Young Adam (2003) starring Ewan McGregor and the neo-Western Hell or High Water (2016) featuring Chris Pine and Ben Foster, Scottish director David Mackenzie whipped out his British … flick Hallam Foe (2006). Based on the debut novel by Peter Jinks, this R rated thriller tells the story of 17-year-old Hallam (Jamie Bell) who believes his dad (Ciarán Hinds) and stepmother (Claire Forlani) are the cause for his mum’s suicide. As such, he leaves home and heads to Edinburgh. There, he meets a woman named Kate Breck (Sophia Myles). She works at the Balmoral Hotel and looks a lot like his late mother. As you can guess, Hallam gets a job at the same hotel where he and Kate begin a romance. This means we get to see Jamie lying face down on the floor. When the nude dude stands so his woman can examine his bod, he cups his junk. While he hides his peen, the camera pans around so we can view Mr. Bell’s delicious derrière. Ring a ding ding! Not to be outdone, Alasdair (Jamie Sives) gets in on the booty show when the topless hottie quickly flashes his round rump. In other words, keep one hand on the pause button. What you do with your other hand is up to you. Just remember to say “cheers, mate!” Although this movie is entitled Hallam Foe, it should be called The Tale of Two Jamies. Or should we say, The Tails on Two Jamies?
