The mesmerizing Machine Gun Kelly is an American actor and rapper. MGK was born Richard Colson Baker on April 22, 1990 in Houston, Texas but moved to Cleveland, Ohio as a teen. He was given the stage name Machine Gun Kelly for his rapid-fire lyrical style. MGK began his rapping career as a teenager, releasing his first mixtape in 2006. Before 2010, he would release four more mixtapes, getting nationwide attention. MGK signed his first recording contract with Bad Boy and Interscope Records in 2011 and released his debut album Lace Up in 2012 which sold 178,000 copies. MGK released his second studio album General Admission in 2015. MGK has appeared in several films such as Beyond the Lights (2014) and Nerve (2016) as well as appearing in Showtime’s series Roadies.
