Maracaibo (2017)

The Argentinian drama Maracaibo (2017) explores the aftermath of a vicious crime on the parents of the perpetrator. Gustavo (Jorge Marrale) and Cristina (Mercedes Morán) already had a strained marriage before their adult son Facundo (Matías Mayer) ended up in prison for a crime he claims he didn't commit. Now, Gustavo and Cristina can either dissolve their union and go their separate ways, or they can come together to find the person or persons responsible for framing their son, but either path is fraught with peril. The film is pretty light on sexy content, though there is a scene where Gustavo discovers his son is gay when he meets his son's boyfriend Damian (José Joaquín Araujo), who is shirtless! Granted, it's not the sexiest scene on our site but in a movie as dour as this, it's a life raft of sexiness!
