German-born and Irish-raised,Michael Fassbendercan often be seen as the villain or flawed male. Which is ironic, given that his physique is pure perfection. In fact, he’s a Hall of Fame Nudity! guy here on Mr. Man, mostly thanks to his role as Brandon in the filmShame(2011). Directed by Steve McQueen, Michael’s character is a sex addict who tries to curb his addiction when his sister visits. His performance won him multiple awards and landed him a Golden Globe nomination. The very first scene of the film offers a full screen view of Michael’s magical shaft as he walks around his apartment naked. It’s an impressive appendage, as is the rest of him, with a toned torso, and a ripe rump he reveals throughout the whole film. He’s also quite naked in another McQueen film,Hunger(2008), but he’s way skinnier, playing Bobby Sands during the 1981 IRA Hunger Strike. You’ll find him shirtless in several projects, clothed in a whole lot more, most of which you’ve at least heard of, if not seen. One of his first roles was playing Burton “Pat” Christenson in the HBO TV mini-seriesBand of Brothers(2001). He’s been nominated for two Academy Awards, with an Oscar nod for supporting actor for his part as Edwin Epps in12 Years a Slave(2013), and a lead actor nom for playing Steve Jobs inSteve Jobs(2015). In less heavy fare, Michael was cast as Erik Lehnsherr, aka Magneto, in theX-Menfranchise, and as Cook inSong to Song(2017) with Ryan Gosling and Natalie Portman.
