If you think Miles Fisher looks a lot like Tom Cruise, you wouldn’t be the only one. And, sometimes, Miles even looks exactly like the Top Gun actor. Remember those viral TikTok videos that apparently showed Tom hanging with Paris Hilton, doing magic tricks, working on his golf swing, and playing guitar? It was actually Miles Fisher, whose appearance was altered by Deepfake technology to cinch the twinning effect. The mannerisms and inflections, though, was all Miles, who in addition to being an actor, is evidently also a skilled impersonator. He’s also a smartie, having attended Harvard University, and was chosen by classmates to deliver the Harvard Oration speech at graduation. Born in Dallas and raised in Washington D.C., one of Miles’ first big-screen appearances was actually playing Tom Cruise in the Leslie Nielsen parody flick, Superhero Movie (2008). He made his way around TV, with pop-ups in The Cleaner, Gossip Girl, Mad Men, Psych, and 2 Broke Girls. You may recall him as Peter Friedkin in Final Destination 5 (2011), or as Agent Garrison in Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar (2011). He’s also a musician, and has performed in more than 25 countries on six continents. And, and, and (the guy is full of ands), he’s also the founder of Coffee Direct and Bixby Coffee (putting the Harvard degree to use). And the final and? He’s shirtless and hot as Father Zach in a 2018 episode of The Mick, complete with muscle and faux tattoos. Hot, smart, talented. Who needs Tom Cruise?
