Suicide Squad (2016)

The shirtless men are coming! The shirtless men are coming! Such is the rallying cry of the DC Comics extravaganza Suicide Squad (2016)! Not to be confused with the sort of sequel, The Suicide Squad (2021), this DCU flick is essentially the supervillain version of The Dirty Dozen (1967) with a little skin to have your mind thinking some dirty thoughts. With Superman dead, government agent Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) decides to create "Task Force X," which essentially plans to roundup all the worst DC villains the government has in custody and ask them to go on a suicide mission in exchange for a shorter sentence. The Joker's (Jared Leto) main squeeze Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), the elite assassin Deadshot (Will Smith), the grody thief Boomerang (Jai Courtney), the mystical martial artist with a Samurai sword that steals souls, Katana (Karen Fukuhara), the LA Chulo who summons fire El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), and Batman's (Ben Affleck) old swamp foe Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) all take the gig. They're outfitted with explosives in case they try to flee, then set out alongside All-American soldier boy Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) to take down the possessed archaeologist causing all sorts of chaos, Enchantress (Cara Delevingne). Will our bad guys actually do some good, or is the suicide squad idea one that should've been killed at the planning stage? You won't off yourself, but you will get yourself off seeing these villains without their tops. Will is drop dead hot as Deadshot, who we get to see doing some shirtless shadowboxing in his cell before the guards rush in and try to beat him down. Will's still got the boxer body all these years after Ali (2001). That six-pack is to die for! Jay gets arrested without his shirt on for lighting stuff on fire, which is sure to have you feeling some heat! But the wildest skin for us flamers has to be Jared Leto, whose sleazecore take on The Joker includes him doing some surgery on Harley Quinn back when she was his shrink. Those are some phenomenal bods on our Suicide Squad!
