We’re mooning over the sexy studs in Sun Records (2017). Based on the theatrical hit Million Dollar Quartet by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, this musical mini-series will make rockabilly fans maxi-interested. Set in 1956, the CMT drama re-creates one of the greatest impromptu recording sessions in rock-and-roll history. Yes, that’s when the legendary Carl Perkins (Dustin Ingram), Elvis Presley (Drake Milligan), Jerry Lee Lewis (Christian Lees), and Johnny Cash (Kevin Fonteyne) jammed together at the titular studio in Memphis, Tennessee. The 8-part saga also includes manager Colonel Tom Parker (Billy Gardell), Elvis’s mom (Ann Mahoney), Jerry Lee’s cousin televangelist Jimmy Swaggart (Jonah Lees), guitarist Hank Snow (Pokey LaFarge), singer Eddy Arnold (Trevor Donovan), and disc jockey Sam Phillips (Chad Michael Murray). The latter actor shows off his chiseled pecs when his character has sex with record producer Marion Keisker (Margaret Anne Florence) in the first episode. Talk about starting the show off with a bang! The sight of this foxy former One Tree Hill (2003-2012) star will make a hill in your trousers. No doubt, more than just the sun will be rising when the handsome hunk flashes his ass after walking away. We hate to see him leave but we love to watch him go! Not to be outdone, Earle Hutchins (Michael Patrick Lane) reveals his chest in the bathtub. Rub a dub dub! If that’s not hot enough, the awesome abs on Mr. Milligan and Mr. Gardell will steam up the small screen. Goodness, gracious, great balls of fire!
