Based on the novel of the same name by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, previously brought to the screen in 1963 by director Luchino Visconti, The Leopard is a 2025 Italian Netflix miniseries that dives deep into the novel. Derived from the old idiom that "a leopard cannot change its spots," the series focuses on Don Fabrizio Corbera, Prince of Salina (Kim Rossi Stuart), ruler of Sicily in 1860, and his battle against Giuseppe Garibaldi and his "Redshirts" as they were known, who were fighting to unify all of Italy under one ruler, Victor Emmanuel II. Like all aristocrats before him, Don Fabrizio assumes that his wealth and status will protect him from societal change, but he is a Leopard after all! In addition to a pair of sexy shirtless scenes, leading man Kim Rossi Stuart bares his buns twice, once while getting out of a tub, and again when waking up in the morning!
