Underworld: Evolution (2006)

Underworld: Evolution (2006) continues the creative and creepy storyline of Underworld (2003) with werewolves and vampires as the allies and the axis in battle for domination of the night. It’s a great premise devised by the film’s director Len Wiseman with Danny McBride and Kevin Grevioux. Like any good horror movie worth its unholy water, this one is wonderfully executed in gothic and grotesque style. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that the sci-fi fantasy boasts esteemed actors such as Kate Beckinsale, Bill Nighy and Derek Jacobi. The movie also includes Andrew Kavadas, Brian Steele, Shane Brolly, Steven Mackintosh, Tony Curran, Zita Görög, and the skin on Scott Speedman! Even though the handsome hunk doesn’t expose his junk, he lets Ms. Beckinsale remove his top when they smooch at the 37-minute mark. As you can guess, their amorous action heats up and seconds later the two are making love in the buff! Luckily for us, Mr. Speedman takes his time while mounting his leading lady which means we get to see his muscular back and nude booty. Needless to say, he puts the thrill into this thriller! Nevertheless, it was Kate who was named Scream Queen at the Scream Awards. We’d love to make Scott scream or vice versa. Moviegoers must have felt the same since they made this pic a box office hit despite the poor reviews it garnered from many film critics. In fact, Underworld: Evolution scored a low rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Yet the flesh flashed feels fresh to Mr. Man!
