What Rats Won't Do (1998)

Titled after an old joke about why scientists should use lawyers instead of lab rats, What Rats Won't Do (1998) is British rom-com about young lawyer Kate Beckenham (Natascha MacElhone), who is about to get married to a boring dude named Graham (Valentine Pelka) when she lands the case of her life. Kate is going to face off with Jack Sullivan (James Frain), the high powered, ultra-hot womanizing lawyer who has never lost a case. Gold digger Mirella Burton (Parker Posey) is a young American woman suing her dead husband's son Gerald (Charles Dance) for all the stuff his dad left behind. Kate's representing the son, while Jack is representing the hot young Yank. Needless to say, Kate is extremely excited about the case and stops caring about her wedding. Worse, the more she faces off with Jack the more she starts to fall for him. It's not long before Kate's head over heels for Jack, but is this just a sleazy tactic he's using to win the case or is he legitimately in love with her, too? Sorry Graham, you've got no shot against this hotshot! No wonder James has never lost a case - he's too sexy! But does he show his cock in this legal rom-com? Nope. Rats!
